About the Journal

The Spanish Journal of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics (Span. J. Environ. Mutagen. Genomics; ISSN 2952-1742) is an open-access electronic resource edited in Madrid (SPAIN) since 2022 by the Spanish Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (Sociedad Española de Mutagénesis y Genómica Ambiental | SEMA).

1. SCOPE

The Spanish Journal of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics collects the abstracts of the communications presented at the congresses of the Spanish Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (SEMA) over the years on topics related to mutagenesis, genotoxicity, DNA damage and repair, genomic instability and the effects of emerging pollutants, among others.

2. OPEN ACCESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate free access to its contents under the principle of open science. Its aim is that any reader has free access, free of charge and from the first moment, to the knowledge that is generated and disseminated through scientific journals. The published contents are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence, where the user is free to share and adapt the published contents, as long as this is not done for commercial purposes and the origin of the information is properly credited.

Thanks to compliance with the OAI-PMH standard (Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), the Spanish Journal of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics facilitates the dissemination of its contents on the Internet, providing a simple interface that allows other portals and information services to access its metadata, in accordance with the Dublin Core format.
