Abstract
The purpose of the First Conference PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF Legionellosis has been to bring technical meeting to try to respond to all the doubts and questions that have Environmental Health professionals in implementing the current regulatory framework for prevention of legionellosis. These doubts and questions were previously collected by the Delegates of the SESA in the Autonomous Communities, the technicians who work in programs for prevention of legionellosis and were transferred to the speakers participating in the conference.
Taking into account all the papers presented in this special issue of the Journal of Environmental Health, the discussions that were generated in each of the tables in the conference and advancing published findings, we present the following technical conclusions and recommendations.
This document, which is intended to be practical and operational, has been reviewed and agreed by all speakers and by the Scientific Committee of the Conference, and is written in the key of pending tasks to be addressed by both public authorities and companies in the sector and holders hazard installations.
