Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the profile of the members of SESA, their interests, concerns and professional requirements, as well as their level of satisfaction with the activities of the Society, so that these activities can be better adapted by the board to the needs of members.

For this purpose, a questionnaire was prepared that included aspects relating to the profile of members and the activities undertaken by the society, as well as some technical and scientific matters.

Analysis of the data obtained from this survey emphasized the need to rejuvenate the society, to diversify the professional profile of members and to strengthen the role of SESA in scientific and social life. In addition, the results also provided details about the activities that were most appreciated by the members, among which were conferences, technical seminars, the Journal and the Web page.
